OpinionWorld

OpinionWorld is an online consumer panel powered by Survey Sampling International (SSI). Founded in 1977, SSI is the pioneer of commercial sample providers.

SSI is a sampling company, meaning that it provides data from its online (such as OpinionWorld) and offline (phone) panels to Market Research companies. SSI clients include 48 of the Top 50 Market Research organizations operating in the US .

Members of the OpinionWorld panel are rewarded with Prize Draw entries and points redeemable for Vouchers or Paypal payments.

Registration

Registration to OpinionWorld is quite simple: just enter your gender, name and email address and you'll receive a link to the registration survey. You'll need about 5 minutes to complete these steps and become a new member of OpinionWorld.

You can also log in using your Facebook account, which some may find more convenient.

Once registered, you'll get an entry for the quarterly Prize Draw and be offered a first opportunity to complete a survey.

Surveys

Surveys can often be completed in no more than 15 minutes, which is pleasant considering that other paid survey companies sometimes send you 30-to-45-minute long surveys.

You'll receive an entry for the Quarterly Prize Draw each time you complete a survey. You'll also receive one when you are notified that the survey you were about to complete is closed, when you receive a "screener" (1-2 questions only) or when you are asked to update your profile.

The number of Prize Draw Entries you already obtained is indicated on your "My Account" page. The more entries you obtain, the higher your chances to win the Prize.

Some surveys also reward you with points that you can redeem for cash or gift cards later.

Rewards: Survey Sampling International Prize Draw, Vouchers and Paypal Cash

Every three months and per country, one winner is selected among all eligible entries. For the United States, the amount of the Prize is $10,000 (see the bottom of this page for other countries).

Be aware that all online panels owned by Survey Sampling International provide eligible entries for the SSI Prize Draw. For instance in the US, the winner is selected among all entries coming from members of OpinionWorld, SurveySpot, Choozz and 4 other online panels powered by SSI .

In addition to the Prize Draw, points that you get when you complete surveys can also be converted into gift cards or Paypal cash. The minimum amount of points that can be redeemed is 1,000. The very large choice of retailers for which you can have vouchers include Amazon.com, Barnes & Nobles, CVS, Dell, Kmart, Sears and many more (for US members). If you prefer, you can also ask for a direct payment through Paypal.

You also have the possibility to donate your points to a charity (such as the American Red Cross for US members)
